Get Involved

There are many ways to support us in delivering happiness and care.

Volunteering at our various fundraisers assists us in providing the best possible experience for our patrons.  Our fundraisers range from our Hartwood Golf Open, upcoming inaugural casino night and wine/beer tastings mixers.  If you have an organization that has a host of volunteers, we would love to have your support and announce your organization to our followers.  Please reach out to AJ Oskuie at 703.981.4911 or email him directly at aj.oskuie@hartwoodfoundation.com and we would be happy to coordinate your assistance in our programs.

HARTWOOD FOUNDATION, INC.

2020/2021 Annual Holiday Appeal

Dear Families and Friends of Hartwood,

As the COVID-19 pandemic drags on and is worsening as we head into the holidays, the future has never felt so unpredictable. These are challenging times for us all, and we hope you are in good spirits and in good health!

While we are accustomed to providing supports on a 24/7 basis on weekends and holidays, we never thought we would need to do so for all of our group home residents on a continuous basis for eight months, and counting. But with the enduring compassion and commitment to our mission of our direct support staff and managers, we have found a way to make it work. It really points up the fact that now, more than ever, our service recipients need us.
And we need you!

We understand that COVID has hit so many individuals and families really hard in a number of ways, including financially. That said, we graciously ask if you’re able, please make a donation.  If you’re unable to donate at this time, you can advocate for us by sharing our mission (and website address below) with a family member or friend.

In times like this, we’re reminded of how interconnected we all are. Thank you for being part of the Hartwood family. Without you, none of what we do is possible.

We wish you a happy, healthy, and safe Holiday Season!

With warm regards,

Christian A. Brown, President
